Abdullah, I have been actively pinging my T-Mobile contacts without any success on future data plans. We did see a 1700 MHz Nokia device approved by the FCC recently so I think T-Mobile may roll it out before the end of the year. Unfortunately, it looks like we'll have to also wait for new devices sporting their compatible radio.

I liked the vintage device discussion (I remember those, especially the Newton, even though I didn't have one).

I was wondering about others that get a device and keep using it longer than most.
I am on my second handheld,
Now I have an Axim X5 (going on 4 years).
Prior to that I had a Palm IIIxe and I had that for at least 3 years.

I know, not 10 years old, but I got a lot out of both of these. I'm always looking for new apps and things to do with each, to keep them useful.

What happened to Matt's mission to find about T-mobile 3G roll out progress? I was patiently waiting for that? Did he look into that?
