  • Sorry, but Kevin is right, it’s absurdly easy to exceed 5 GB in a month. Itunes alone can do it in a couple of weeks. No, no streaming, not even with only music, JUST WITH PODCASTS. I get maybe 50 podcasts, with Itunes set to retain only two episodes, and my podcast folder hovers just under 4 GB. That includes only five vidcasts.

    Another usage that Verizon’s terms of service doesn’t prohibit is Remote Desktop. Ah yes, that’s how I admin several machines, sometimes remotely. It’s amazing how fast the bytes rsck up when you’re doing that.

    If it was up to me, Verizon would be fined into bankruptcy for deceptive advertising. That seems to be the one sure way to teach the telecom industry to not BS consumers. I’m waiting for Vertzon to cancel my EDVO account again so I can move to Sprint. I like their EDVO hardware more also.
