		<description>The interstate highways in Hawai&#039;i connect the military bases (sort of). They&#039;re built with federal funds so they must by law, if not in fact, be called interstates. BTW, Matt, if you&#039;re still there, be sure to check out the Japanese import shops, like Shirokiya, and the local eateries (any place with a line of customers).</description>
