Kevin, you should have gotten a recumbent bike, you wouldn't have had neck problem after a ride :-)

Why must EV-DO be integraded. With bluetooth enable tablet and phone you shouldn't need to have EV-DO integraded. How often are you going do be somewhere without your cellphone and want to use EV-DO on your tablet?

P.S. James, you shouldn't use your cellphone while driving. It is getting more and more banned in various places.

Hi Guys,
Great podcast as usual. I just have a couple of comment., Kevin, are you sure you can't turn off EVDO from the Today screen? I have not seen any other Windows Mobile device that does not allow you to tap on the connection status/strength icon in the top right of the screen to close a connection. I haven't tried EVDO ( don't have that in the UK just very patchy 3G) but the way James describes it on the Treo matches every other WM device I have tried.

The other comment I have is on the Treo 700p memory. Palms traditionaly use memory much more efficiently than Windows Mobile devices, and I think that, as long as the 700p has more memory than the 650, there will not be a problem. The hidden memory problem with Palm devices is in the amount of Db Cache memory available, and from everything I have read, the latest Palms will solve this problem.

On another note, I have just placed an order for the Samsung Q1, no delivery date yet but I am really looking forward to trying out a Tablet device and I will let you know my impressions when it finally arrives.
