I am still waiting to see the new USB battery from BatteryGeek.net, I called and the sales people are clueless, I got an email from Sean(?) but he won't reply when I asked about timing/price.

Any more news?

I don't see the major point of integrated EVDO unless it is some sort of replaceable module.

I have a laptop with built in 802.11b. I use an 802.1g card. 'nuff said

Great discussion of the "perfect" mobile device. My friend, John K., who sent me the original list, was intrigued to hear you guys discuss it. Much like the women we love, we all have different ideas about what constitutes "perfection" when it comes to a mobile device!

Coincidentally, your discussion of a mini-tablet device is EXACTLY what a GIS professor/guru at Queens University in Kingston, Ontario would like!
