Love the show guys!!

For some free software tips for your listeners. IF they are current satellite radio users there are some free ways to listen to satellite radio on your Pocket PC or Windows Smartphone. There are clients that stream given an internet connection content from both Sirius and XM. Works great on GPRS, EDGE, EvDO, WiFi, etc...

A bunch of options listed here:
http://www.bostonpocketpc.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=2973

The latest version of SirCE by Emulamer and Kraven just came out and is available here:

http://www.emulamer.com/SiriuCE.html

Only downside is that channel information on all clients aren't broadcast via the stream(like it is on the PC) so artist, song information isn't available...yet...

Also if you want to try it out both XM and Sirius have free trial offers...

Still I get my satellite radio anywhere I have internet without a satellite antenna... :)

Keep up the good work...

Well Mike it all depends on where you are located. ANY GSM provider will work. I know for sure in the USA it works with Cingular and T-Mobile.

Robert, <a href="http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9506343/site/newsweek/" rel="nofollow">a joint press-conference</a> was held by Verizon, Palm and Microsoft on 9/28 to announce the new device; I'm not sure what the date on the link is that you provided, but I can't imagine that there will be any FCC holdups on this device. Word has it that Verizon will offer it within the next three months. Of course, as we hear more, we'll be sure to provide updates!

I definitely like your follow-up questions, so you can count on us for opinions in a future show. In case you hadn't noticed, we're not shy with our opinions! :) Thanks!

Can I pose two related questions for a future show?

1. What constitutes legal/illegal use of accessing a free WiFi signal?

2. Do such laws vary by state/province/country?
